Trait Emotional Intelligence and Multiple Intelligences as Predictors of Academic Success in Serbian and Greek IT Students

Even though research on predicting the academic achievement of IT students is not scarce, inclusion trait emotional intelligence and multiple intelligences as predictive factors somewhat novel. The examined associations between identified profiles intelligences, success in sample 288 students, 208 from Serbia 80 Greece. results show that profile both proved to be important predictors success. Another predictor students’ was related their prior schooling indicate fostering a student-centered learning model through tertiary education, with special emphasis personal dispositions traits, could crucial for success, especially multidisciplinary field information technology.
